Hi,
The major reason for installing BoxCryptor is to be able to safely store files in the cloud and be able to access them from different clients. That's why I'm a bit puzzled that the Dropbox I encrypted at work can't be decrypted by my home computer. What differentiates the two is that the client at work runs Windows XP on a 32-bit machine, while the one at home runs Windows 7 on a 64-bit machine. Any clues?
Oh, I should probably add that I had the two synchronized some days ago, then regenerated the Dropbox from work, adding settings so the file names wouldn't be encrypted. I then let the machine at home synchronize its Dropbox content. It was after that, that I opended the folder and discovered that all the files (also text files) displayed encrypted content when opened from home.
