I am interested in getting an encryption program locally for the SD card on a tablet. Will a pay version of the program for android able to encrypt and decrypt on the SD card directly. How can I do that, if the feature is available? I don't want to rely on the streaming from the cloud or dropbox since the file cannot be downloaded from the cloud and accessed offline.

at the moment, BoxCryptor for Android can only be used together with Dropbox and cannot be used to encrypt/decrypt data locally on the SD card. However, this feature is on our Roadmap for the future development.
