Support for other Cloud storage products?

Are there any plans to add capability to use SkyDrive, Google Drive (to appear soon :), etc? It would be very nice!

Clarification: I mean mobile BoxCryptor (on iOS and Android), because on Mac or Linux I'd just use EncFS directly to keep encrypted files on e.g., SkyDrive. My only problem would be accessing them from e.g., iOS devices.

we will include Google Drive in BoxCryptor for Android very soon and SkyDrive also within the next releases. For the iOS version I can't give an exact release date.

I have just installed BoxCryptor on W7 so that I can make use of the new google drive thingy, and it works really well - very pleased with it. Once the android client is released that can also make use of the google drive, then I will purchase the unrestricted version of the app.

I think that the Skydrive access would provide the icing on the cake. Looking forward to it.

Could you please speed up adding iOS support of multiple "clouds"? I need it, and am sure there are many others who'd appreciate support for GDrive and SkyDrive on iOS...

Here's one thing I do not quite understand fully: Boxcryptor encrypts files and stores these encrypted files in a specific folder. If this is e.g. the Skydrive folder, Skydrive synchronizes the folder's content to the cloud service - job done. If I'm right, why do I need dedicated support for specific cloud services, at all? Not for backup but in order to decrypt and access files on the go. Am I right?

the Desktop and Mobile versions are working in a different manner.
The Desktop versions store the encrypted files into a folder which is then synchronized by the provider's clients (e.g. SkyDrive client).
The mobile versions use the provider's APIs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_interface) to access the data. This means for every storage provider we have to seperately include it's API to support it.

Thank you for your quick response! That's what I thought: the support isn't needed for the backup or transfer into the cloud but for the mobile access to the already stored files.

That means I could use boxcryptor to secure my files that I want to backup to the cloud more securely. No matter if the service provider is supported or not. Because I just want to backup not access my files on the go.
