Not sure if this is a bug or by design but I've discovered an alarming fact today before rolling out Boxcryptor to a customer.
It seems that Boxcryptor data which is backed up as an image of a computer cannot be restored to the Boxcryptor drive & then decrypted.
The design for my customer was to use Dropbox for 5 client computers, deploy Boxcryptor on 2 & exclude Dropbox syncing of the Boxcryptor folder on the 3 other machines. One of the 2 Boxcryptor machines is imaged daily so that any accidentally deleted Boxcryptor data can be restored from the last image.
I've tested restoring several Boxcryptor files from the image by dropping them back into the original Boxcryptor drive & the files cannot be read.
Is this by design or is there anything I can do to get these restored files decrypted?
