Is the only way to view my local (unencrypted) files by running the BoxCryptor client? That is, are they not stored in a local, mounted folder? What happens if I need to recover my encrypted files from the cloud, but BoxCryptor has gone belly-up?
Hello pcpro You have to sync your encrypted files to your local pc or create a network drive at the moment. This can be done with your cloud storage provider's software. In an unlikely case in which BoxCryptor has gone belly-up you can also use EncFS on a Linux client to recover your data. Best regards Boris
