Multiple Drives in Android Version

Hi,

one simple question:
I've connected the Boxcryptor Android App to the Encrypted folder in Dropbox.
How can i now connect to other drives (e.g. Google Drive) additionally?
At first start of the Boxcryptor App there was a screen where i could choose between the Cloud Drives, but i can't find this screen in the app.

I know multiple drives are supported only in Paid Version of Boxcryptor. But i wanted to go sure that it's technically possible in Android App also?

To come back to the provider screen press the options button on your phone or press the options menu button on the top right of your screen. After that go to "Preferences" and then tap "Unlink device from Dropbox".

At the moment it is only possible to have one provider at the same time so you always have to switch between the providers using the "Preferences".

The multiple drives option for BoxCryptor Unlimited only refers to BoxCryptor for Desktop.

The mobile versions of BoxCryptor are completely free and so this feature has just not yet been included. But we are working on it!

Hi,

I am running BC Unlimited Business under Win7 to concurrently access BC folders in a GDrive and also in a SkyDrive folders.

In BC Android, is there a way to access both GDrive and SkyDrive BC folders at the same time?

Currently, I can only access one of them at a time in Android.

Further, everytime I switch, I need to provide the username and pw.

Is there a way to have BC Android remember the username and pw?

Hi Jim,

Our highest priority for BoxCryptor for Android in the past weeks and months was to integrate more storage providers so that BoxCryptor can be used with as many storage providers as possible. E.g. we added support for Box and generic WebDAV access.

We have not yet been able to implement an equivalent of the desktop feature "multiple drives" in our mobile apps for Android and iOS. I can only tell you that it's still on our roadmap and we're doing our best to implement it as soon as possible.

PS: Your stored password is cleared as soon as you switch the storage provider.
