How to use Everything and Boxcryptor

Hi All!

My name is Diego and I wanted to ask if anyone was able to use Everything (www.voidtools.com) with BoxCryptor.

I want to sync my Documents folder with my laptop (Live Mesh), SkyDrive Cloud (Live Mesh), encrypted (BoxCryptor) and searcheable (Everything).

The problem I have is that Everything, for some reason that I don't really know nor understand, is that it can read my BoxCryptor mounted drive, therefore I loose the ability to search through my files with Everything.

Is there anything I can do to have all this 3 great apps working? :)

I can see a subst directory in everything but not in a mounted BC folder, so i think its related to CBFS. Maybe other file finders exits that can index BC folder.

Dear Diego,

Everything can only read /local/, /NTFS/ formatted drives.
When- or whereever you store sth somewhere else (no matter if BCed or not) it's out of Everythings reach. So IMHO Everything and Boxcryptor won't get together in any useful way.

Too bad. Everything is a very useful program. Agent Ransack from mythicsoft.com still works on the Z:\ drive (bc plaintext); but not as useful as Everything.

it works fine for me, but I use netdrive 3 as my uploader to the cloud.. maybe look into raidrive as the path you search? I use the boxcryptor as a 'folder' and not a drive in everything.
An additional reason for everyone in the world to install everything, it finds unencrypted files, or at least the ones that don't have file name scrambling. unfortunately its not so close to the os that the right click menu works, but it can export this list as a text file..
you wind up with something like: G:\My Drive\????咆?律???咱剁嶅?坤䀏\nas-nc\倐?射???䀍\z2\unencryptedfile.txt and then you can browse to that path by a search and fix the encryption
