How to change size of Boxcryptor drive

Hi,
my Dropbox account ist about 12 GB, but boxcryptor created automatically a drive with 100 GB. This is too much and I need this place.

Question: how can I reduce after creating the drive the size of this?

Hello Sombra

BoxCryptor only uses the space your encrypted files need. The BoxCryptor drive shows the complete available and used space on which the BoxCryptor folder is located. So the 100GB are your harddrive and not the space BoxCryptor uses.

After I copy dropbox files to BoxCryptor folder it increases dropbox size by almost a gig,why?

Hello Joejaz,

first of all, just to make sure these files are properly encrypted, did you copy them to your drive? Because if you copy them directly to the folder, the files won't get encrypted. Concerning the size of the drive, did you copy them inside? Then the files still exist outside the encrypted folder. The encrypted files have the same size as the original ones.
