BC1.4 and Win8: still Explorer does not show thumb nails

Dear colleagues,
I am using Win8 prof german for several weeks and updated BC to V1.4 now.
When showing pictures from a mounted drive in preview mode in Windows Explorer window only generic icons a shown, but no preview.
I am quite sure to remember in Win7 this worked before. Is this correct?
Will this be fixed? By you or Microsoft?

Hi Thomas,

v1.4 does not yet have support for Windows 8. We're already working on v1.5 which will have Windows 8 support and which will show image thumbnails in Windows Explorer. We will make it available until the official release of Windows 8 on October 26th.
