I use Boxcryptor on my Dropbox and feel very fine. After a clean install of Mac OS X Mountain Lion, however, I can't see the tags I assigned with Yep or Leap (both from ironicsoftware.com). Unfortunately, I rely heavily on these tags.
My BC volumes have Spotlight indexing enabled, additionally, I sudoed mdutil -i on /Volume/Name-of-Volume. Terminal returns Index enabled. The annoying thing is that the tags are still there, visible in the info panel but not in the tag search panel on the left and not searchable by Leap (or Yep).
When I copy or move a file to a location outside the volume everything is fine and all tags are visible and searchable.
Ironic Software's support can't find a solution either. They checked BC's support pages and found the relevant article.
There is also the possibility that boxcryptor does not support 'xattrs' also called 'extended attributes'. Although they look like they do as I read this unrelated post: https://boxcryptor.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/688364-why-am-i-receiving-the-error-%22filexyz-is-damaged-and-can-t-be-opened-you-should-move-it-to-the-trash-%22-under-mountain-lion-
Any Yep or Leap users here to help out?
