Alternative configurationfile on Windows Client

Hello,

is there any possibility to add an existing Boxcryptor volume with(!) an alternative configurationfile on Windows? My Windows Boxcrypt client has got no options to specify such config in the "open existing volume"-wizard.

This volume was created on OSX.

Hi,

This is possible if you activated the Advanced Mode. Then, at the end of the wizard you can modify advanced options like e.g. an alternate configuration file.

I've retried that. When I want to add my volume, it says, that this is not a valid volume:

The .xml is outsourced. But it looks like, that the wizard expects an configuration beforce I could specify it?!

Here you finde detailed instructions on how to set up a boxcryptor folder with an alternate config file (because box.net doesn't sync "."files)
