BoxCryptor not encrypting on MAC with OS X 10.8

Just downloaded and installed BoxCryptor on recommendation of a friend. Seemed to be exactly what I wanted. I followed the installation directions exactly. There is a BoxCryptor Volume on my desktop as well as Finder. I created the folder in Drobbox during the setup process. This folder has the name of BoxCryptor.bc

I copied a file into the BoxCryptor Volume in the Finder. It copied the file into the BoxCryptor.bc folder in Dropbox, Following the instructions in the included pdf, I opened the file in teh BoxCryptor.bc folder and it was not encrypted. When I try to open the folder in Dropbox, the actual volume is opened as shown in the path in the bottom of the finder. In other words, I cannot open the BoxCryptor.bc folder to verify the files are encrypted or even in there. Opening the folder actually opens the Volume.

I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong and why I cannot view the encrypted files in the BoxCryptor.bc folder. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hello Gasport,

since the last version we treat the Boxcryptor folders with the the .bc extensions as file bundles to prevent accidental access to the encrypted files. You can open it by right click the folder and then "show package contents". This will open the folder instead of the drive.
