I read that v2 would support multiple users accessing a shared box and that it was due by the "end of the year" (2012 that is).

is it going to be much longer?

It is already possible to have multiple users accessing a shared BoxCryptor Folder by sharing the password with other users. Of course, this is not an ideal solution yet and we'll introduce great improvements for collaborative access to encrypted files in BoxCryptor v2.0. We have not yet publicly announced a release date for 2.0 yet, but it's true that our initial internal goal was end of 2012. Even if we did not meet this goal, it won't be too long anymore and we will officially publish more information regarding 2.0 soon. I can assure you that we're working hard to release it as soon as possible.
