I am using Boxcryptor with filename encryption, applied to a Boxcryptor folder within Dropbox. I am accessing the Boxcryptor folder from my Mac and from my PC.
Is there a way to force Boxcryptor to use case-insensitive filenames?
Some of my Mac applications have started creating filenames that are identical except for capitalization (e.g., ABC.txt and abc.txt). This works as long as I am accessing the files from within Boxcryptor, because the Boxcryptor filesystem appears to be case-sensitive. But I can't copy the files back to my MacOS Extended case-insensitive partition, because ABC.txt and abc.txt create a conflict. Any help would be much appreciated. Best, H.
