Files show as corrupt, but only when opened from mounted drive

I am using BoxCryptor with Skydrive. Today, on a Win8 x64 box, I tried to open a few files from the drive that Boxcryptor had created when I installed it. I received a message saying that the file was corrupt. However, when I open the files from their original location (c:\Data\SkyDrive\xxxx.bc), then everything works fine. Very strange. Anyone else had a similar experience?

It sounds as if you saved the file directly to the BoxCryptor Folder (C:\Data\SkyDrive\xxxx.bc) which means that the file was never encrypted. BoxCryptor only encrypts files if you store them into the BoxCryptor Drive (e.g. X:\). You should never directly interact with the BoxCryptor Folder, but always use the BoxCryptor Drive to work with your files (reading/writing).
