What should the settings for BoxCryptor / EncFS be that will make it possible to open an encrypted folder from BOTH Linux (under EncFS) _AND_ Windows (under BoxCryptor)?
Please provide a link if this has already been answered. Thank you.
PS Since BC and EncFS are expected to diverge, it would be a useful thing to keep track of options that make it incompatible with EncFS. An ideal answer would be a side-by-side comparison of features BC vs EncFS.

PS: Boxcryptor Classic (1.x) versions will always be compatible with EncFS.

Boxcryptor 2.0 is not compatible with EncFS anymore as we're using a completely new encryption scheme. If you require EncFS compatibility, you can continue to use Boxcryptor Classic which will always be compatible with EncFs.
