Dear BoxCryptor's team,
I would like to congratulate you for, I could say, the brilliant piece of software.
As a security professional, am used to look at the security in all of its aspects.
Yes, the BoxCryptor is a perfect tool to secure the information which we would like to be stored on "cloud" servers... but not only. It could be successfully used to protect any critical and/or sensitive information on the local computer, server or a machine in the local network. It could be achieved if the user would be able to choose a different location the system .xml file to be stored in (ex. on a removable device). This could allow the removable device to be the "key" for the encrypted information. In case the computer is stolen the encrypted information would be useless without the "key". Such a feature would bring more functionality as well as it would establish an additional security layer when the information is "cloud" stored - the system .xml file won't be uploaded to the remote server in a plain form.
I would be thankful if you would inform me if it could be done in some a way in the current version and if it could't, could it be integrated as an option in the future version.
With my best regards,
Yavor
