I was trying to replace my .xml file with a newly created one using the password of my original encryption. This did not work as the keydata seems to be tied to something other than the password and an encryption algorithm. I suppose that's a good thing. However, I did find a loophole in the way the hash is mapped which I will not disclose lol because it is a serious security flaw. It was simple for me to exploit because I knew the original password but I think I could work backwards by replacing a known matched hash-password combo with a unknown password. Anyways I'm way too tired having lost a few days of sleep trying to regain access to these files.
And thank you so much for your responses :D
