I encounter some problems, since I have some folders with Chinese naming.
Problem 1:
When the Chinese named folder lies in the root directory of the Cloud Drive, although they can be encrypted, but not as usual encrypted into a folder with the same name as original one -- instead always into the one and the same name: "_encrypted" (that is: Chinese characters are gone), which refers to the root directory of the mirrored location, such as "X:\Mediencenter\". Actually, BoxCryptor starts automatically to encrypt recursive all files and folders under "X:\Mediencenter" into "X:\Mediencenter\_encrypted\".
Problem 2:
Although folder with Chinese name can be established in the sub-directories (such as "X:\Mediencenter\abc\新增資料夾" ), however, after they are encrypted, no file can be added into them. This does not happens to every folder with Chinese name, but indeed to some leading characters, such as: "新"、"劉"、"內"、"博", so far as i encountered. The system treats them as if no such directory exists.
Problem 3:
These encrypted Chinese named folder can not be deleted. The only way to delete them is to reset the location that BoxCryptor watches.
Suggestion:
These problems happen only on folders.
Files with the same Chinese character at beginning work well.
So i suggest something to do with successively occurring character-sets, namely: the letter "\" immediately followed by "some" Chinese letters.
It sounds like an old problem where Unicode was not so popular as today, and computers in Eastern Asia used special charsets that sometimes collide with western charsets, especially with file paths.
I do enjoy the great function of BoxCryptor. So i hope you can solve these problems as soon as possible.
Sincerely
