BC Classic-Convert Plaintext filenames to Encrypted

HI!

I was using BC Classic Free for several months with Dropbox and opted to buy the license and add several accounts and for the most part, everything went smoothly. With the licensed version, my new Box file names show encrypted, but the original Dropbox file names are still plaintext. I'm sure there is a way to convert these plaintext to encrypted file names but I can't figure it out.

I found a thread https://forums.boxcryptor.com/topic/want-unencrypted-file-names#post-22 with a link for Boxcryptor Control that sounded like it would do what I need but unfortunately it is no longer available.

And to clarify and confirm I'm doing this correctly, when I look at my local Dropbox drive, or Dropbox.com and then look in my BoxCrytor.bc directory the file names are plaintext, I can read all the file names. When I check the same directories in my local Box drive or Box.com, the file names are encrypted or scrambled.

The Dropbox BoxCryptor.bc directory was generated using the free service.

Any ideas?

Okay, I think I figured it out. I made a new BoxCryptor folder/drive using Dropbox again with a different name. Once it was generated, I added a the files and folders from the original BoxCryptor.bc (within Dropbox) into the new drive on my computer. It appears that all the file names in the new BoxCryptor.bc with the new name are all encrypted. It was an easy fix, however it would have been nice if it could have encrypted the original files on the fly.

******Even though I believe this is the fix for my problem and unless a better solution is available, I am leaving this thread on-line for others to see if needed.******
