Cannot Delete Files from Boxcryptor Drive

I am using Boxcryptor Version 2.0.402.252 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

I cannot delete files on the Boxcryptor drive, e.g. if I have a file called Y:\SkyDrive\Documents\ExampleFile.docx and I try to delete it, I get the message: "Can't read from the source file or disk."

I can delete the file successfuly if I go to D:\Users\David\SkyDrive\Documents\ExampleFile.docx.bc.

This is only a minor problem, but I would like to know if there is a way round it?

ok, can you try to reproduce the problem in debug mode?

To start Boxcryptor in debug mode, execute the shortcut "Boxcryptor (Debug)". You can find this shortcut in the Boxcryptor installation directory (e.g. C:\Programme\Boxcryptor).

Boxcryptor will then create a file called "Boxcryptor.svclog" on your Desktop. Please send this file to us.

I have created the log file, but I can't work out how to post it here! How do I post it or do you have an email address I can send it to?

Hi Gustav,

I have emailed the file to you. It is very big and exceeded the Gmail size limit, so I had to send it via Google Drive. I've never done this before, so please let me know if you receive it successfully.

For anyone else with this problem, I have just received the following email from Boxcryptor:

We have been able to reproduce the problem and will try to fix it as soon as possible. The reason is that you have enabled the Recycle Bin for the Boxcryptor Drive and the SkyDrive folder is located on a different drive (D:\) then the Recycle Bin folder (C:\). A temporary solution could be to disable the Recycle Bin - you should not have problems to delete files then.

I shall be waiting for the fix - too risky to disable the Recycle Bin!
