When editing files on a BoxCryptor classic volume with Emacs, a mismatch in modification times occurs: The modification time recorded by emacs after saving the document is by a couple of seconds smaller than the modification time reported by the file system. For a tested 50 MB file, the difference was about 37 seconds.
This means that after every save operation emacs will prompt
1. If I really want to edit the file that has changed on the disk.
2. If I really want to overwrite the newer contents on the disk.
This makes a normal workflow impossible.
Does BoxCryptor Classic report the writing operation as finished before the encrypted file has been written entirely (some kind of caching) and can I disable this? Currently it makes working with files inside boxcryptor nearly impossible.
