Is there a way to change the selection of which app opens which file type (when not using the Boxcryptor viewer)?

Hello Steve,

When not using our own viewer, Boxcryptor uses the default open mechanism of Android. You can change the default application for a file type in the Android settings. You can find more information e.g. here:
