Android App for v2 -- Needs Work

I've tried Boxcryptor v2 with an eye toward possibly migrating if the need arises for the file-share features. However, I'm discouraged by the inferior state of the Android app compared to BoxCryptor Classic -- the BoxCryptor v2 Android file viewer is much less useful (doesn't fade out the sidebars to allow fullscreen display, doesn't allow opening other apps, and most of all doesn't make it possible to edit and re-encrypt files on the portable device.

We are currently improving the file previewer. These improvements include a real full screen mode and a zoom feature for images.

Opening files in other apps can be done by pressing the share button in full screen mode or you mark the file in the browser and press the share button.

Also editing files should be possible. For text files you can use our text editor and press save after editing or you open the files in an other app by clicking on them. After you returned to Boxcryptor your saved changes should be uploaded.

OK, thanks. It'll be a few months before I know if I'll need to new access-sharing features of version 2 enough to be worth paying an annual subscription, so I'll take another look at it then.

The new version with the improved previewer (e.g. fullscreen display) is now available in the Play Store.
