Dropox re-indexing files on opening

Hi,

A while back I noticed that whenever I open a file inside my boxcryptor folder, dropbox immediately starts re-indexing the entire file. For small files this is no problem, but everytime I open a big file (1gig+) the system load caused by re-indexing slows everything down.

Is this a problem with boxcryptor/dropbox/me?

this is a problem in our software, we have found the cause and fixed it. We will release a new version next week.

I'm sorry, but yes there has been a delay. Due to the release of the new Boxcryptor for Mac OS X today we have shifted all our development power to Mac OS X in the past days and weeks. There was simply no time left for BC Classic for Windows - but I can ensure you that the new BC Classic for Windows release will be our next priority now after the Mac OS X release.
