I have a pretty simple usage scenario and I'm trying to work out how this would work with BoxCryptor. I'm using BoxCryptor Unlimited Business v2.0.411.330 on Windows 7, and I use it with Google Drive (installed locally). No problems on my "main" device - all my folders and files are encrypted and seem to work fine.
I also travel with a Windows 8 based tablet - on occasion I need to access those encrypted files stored on Google drive. Because of limited storage space, I don't want to sync ALL files and folders. Nor can I say in advance which files I may need, so choosing to sync a subset to the tablet isn't a real solution either.
How can I find, download, and decrypt a particular file on the tablet?
One solution would be to use Google's web interface to browse the folders and pull the file I want, then decrypt it locally. Is this possible? A big problem though is that the folder and file names are also encrypted. I would prefer to keep it that way - is there a work around?
Is there a solution where I can browse the decrypted folder structure without having to download the entire contents?
I realize this situation may be a matter of Google Drive features and/or Boxcryptor features, but it seems the need I have is fairly straightforward and probably very common.
I'm wondering what solutions are suggested by those with experience.
Thanks in advance.
