Cannot login to Desktop Client

After install and computer restart I get the following error when trying to login...

ERROR LOADING SETTINGS
startIndex cannot be larger than length of string. Parameter name: startIndex

This comes up in a red box on the program.

Tried to uninstall/re-install repair etc etc.

I did notice that the driver section during install does not appear and no drive is apparent.

Windows 8.1 64

Any help would be appreciated as I really want to give this program a try.

Hi,

Can you try to delete the current settings? This will reset Boxcryptor on your computer to "factory defaults". You can find them here:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local (or by entering %LOCALAPPDATA% in the address bar in Windows Explorer)

Tried that, uninstalled it also which also deletes that folder, no luck

I have this exact problem. Any solution yet? I really want to buy Boxcryptor, but I can't get it to run...

If the advice above does not work (deleting the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Boxcryptor folder), please try to reproduce the error in debug mode. To start Boxcryptor in debug mode, execute the shortcut "Boxcryptor (Debug)". You can find this shortcut in the Boxcryptor installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Boxcryptor).

Boxcryptor will then create a file called "Boxcryptor.svclog" on your Desktop. Please send this file to support@boxcryptor.com

Note: The debug log can contain sensitive information (e.g. filenames), but it will never containt any file content.
