So I created a password.
Wrote it down.
Memorized it.
Lost it.
Forgot it.
Nice.
Luckily, I'd set the app to remember the password and mount the virtual drive every time I boot up on one of my pc's.
Whew!
So I copied the contents of that virtual drive (Z) to another hard drive.
I then went in, and per instructions on another thread here, created a new Boxcryptor folder in dropbox (Boxcryptor2.bc) and a new virtual drive (Y).
I created a new password.
Wrote it down.
Twice.
BUT:
When I go into my dropbox, the OLD boxcryptor folder (BoxCryptor.bc) is there , with all the encrypted, inaccessible, files.
As they should be.
The previous boxcryptor drive, (Z) , is now gone.
As I'd expect.
My NEW (Boxcryptor2.bc) folder in dropbox?
It's UN-encrypted?!
But it should be.
My new boxcryptor drive, (Y): The one that is supposed to be unencrypted with the password entered (and remembered)?
ALL files ARE encrypted!
Sorta totally bass ackwards!
To summarize:
The files on my local boxcryptor drive (Y) are encrypted so no one here can get at them, even with the password!
The files in the "encrypted" drop box folder (Boxcryptor2.bc)?
Wide open for anyone to access!

H. ?!?
This is HELLA weak!
