Chrome Extension not working today (Error)

Extension version: 2.0.203.79
Latest version of chrome

All of a sudden, today the extension is causing high cpu usage, won't login, just states logging in, gives some error of "native client doesn't seem to work correctly in your browser, some features deactivated"...

from there the cpu usage is high, clicking the icon shows still trying to login, never does. Have never had issues till today, is this an issue with the extension? if I disabled it, cpu is back to normal, try to login again, same problems..

I have the same issue, Chrome extension version is the same, 2.0.203.79, Chrome version 34.0.1847.116. After a few minutes, during the login process the extension is stopped by Chrome.

Same here since I have installed Chrome 34... I can reproduce this on different systems (but all Windows 8.1 x64)

We could track down the reason to a change in the latest Chrome version (regarding new CSRF security checks). We'll try to publish a fixed version in the Chrome web store tomorrow.

I'm sorry but we won't be able to publish the new version today. The changes in Chrome 34 require more work on our side than I expected. (In addition to the new CSRF security checks there are also changes regarding Native Client.)

We're doing our best to release the fixed version as soon as possible.

Hi, is there any possible way of letting us know a timeframe on a updated release? I used the extension at work constantly to move about editing files and it's much needed.. thanks!

Thanks! If we would have known about this breaking change in the new Chrome version earlier, we could have had the fixed plugin ready on time - but unfortunately Google does not yet seem the need to inform us ;)

Warning Native Client doesn't seem to work correctly in your Browser Some features of Boxcryptor had to be deactivated

I'm on the most recent Chrome version, Win 10 64 bit.

1) In the Chrome menu, go to 'Preferences' ⇨ 'Privacy' ⇨ 'Clear Browsing Data'
2) Have these ticked:
Choose 'Since the beginning of time'
Cookies and other site and plugin data
Hosted app data
Click 'Clear browsing data'
3) In the Chrome menu, go to 'Preferences' ⇨ 'About' ⇨ make sure Chrome is updated
4) Quit and reopen Chrome
5) Try signing into Prosper Works again

Generally, we discourage our users from using the chrome extension.
For every change in the providers' websites, the extension has to be adapted by hand, which makes the extension quite unstable and error prone. It is no longer actively developed, only core functionality such as up- and download is still maintained.

For this very reason, it never left the beta state.
