• Boxcryptor 2.0 for Android and local keyfile

I have used boxcryptor 2.0 on Windows and various Android devices for a few months with a local keyfile. Now I got a new Android tablet and installed the lastest version for Boxcryptor 2.0 for Android.

Maybe I am missing something, but I can't find the option to supply the location of the local keyfile and use a local account - I seem to remember that previous versions had this option on the login screen, but it has apparently disappeared?

Are there any instructions on how to supply the local keyfile in the latest Android version?

    Hello cf

You can open the "Advanced" setup (including local account) by clicking on the three little dots on the right bottom corner of the login screen.

      Boris,

thank you very much. Despite looking for something like that on the login screen for at least 20 minutes, I still missed those dots. I am either losing my eyesight or they are really too tiny. :-)

Anyway, thanks a lot for the quick response.

        Hi Christian,

        They are really there :)

Here's a screenshot where the dots are highlighted:

We have noticed that the local account was confusing the average user too much and thus decided to hide it a little bit more on the front page.

        Best regards,
        Robert
