I have been using BoxCryptor Classic for sometime and recently ran into a problem with encrypting the file names. It all started several weeks ago when my mobile devices and my laptop were not syncing using BOX, but Dropbox was okay. Not jumping into changing my BoxCryptor files quickly, I kept trying different things, believing the problem was on the "Box" side and in the end it was and that issue has been fixed.
Unfortunately, before I found the issue, I converted the encrypted BoxCryptor file names I had back to regular text so I could see what was happening with the files. I just tried to convert the regular names back to encrypted and it worked, except for when I view the files in the BoxCryptor directory now they too are encrypted. I tried to reset them back again and now it won't do it.
Basically, all the files in my BoxCryptor directory, both within the Box account and within the BoxCryptor drive are all encrypted.
Any ideas how to get them back to regular text file names?
