Copy files to external HDD still marked green & Doesn't remember folders when log out/in

Two rather basic features not working correctly]. Mac version 2.0.411 (566).

(1) When I copy files+folders from a Boxcrypt'ed folder to another drive (unencrypted, not Boxcryptor), the green "encrypted" dot remains on the destination version (the file is not encrypted, it is just that the green tag remains).

(2) When I log out of Boxcryptor and log back in (or log in from a bootup), All is as if I just started Boxcryptor for the first time; I get the welcome screens and I have to re-add my encrypted folders again by hand.

Addition to my post above, of even more concern:

(3) With Boxcryptor running and two additional folders from the main drive (added to it in preferences->Locations). Each folder contains a few gigs of folders and files, some folders and contents encrypted. Open two finder windows and open the two folders so essentially I now have "Boxcryptor->FolderA" and "Boxcryptor->FolderB". Select all the content of one and drag it to the other, thus performing a "move" (same drive). Boxcryptor will .... splutter... crash ... bang..... OMG I hope I haven't lost all my files!!! Good job I've backed everything up.

The destination folder is showing white folders! The folders are empty. The same folders from the source are gone. Boxcryptor crashes, icon in the menu bar gone. Run BC and enter password, no BC drive appears. Quit and run BC again, drive appears this time. Files and folders seem to be there but I think I'll be comparing them to my backup before assuming they are OK.

I really reaaaaallly don't trust this software with my files and data, perhaps someone should test and debug it? I think I will be asking for a refund. That is all.

Addition to the above

(4) Trying to decrypt a previously encrypted folder (a folder I created in the Boxcryptor and I copied files into). Unfortunately it consists of 10,600 items in sub folders (mostly just 2 deep). 60% through and all I get is popup after popup saying:
“filename.xxx” couldn’t be copied because you don’t have permission to access “xxx”
“filename.xxx” couldn’t be copied because you don’t have permission to access “xxx”.
Retry/Skip/Cancel

Boxcryptor managed to encrypt this folder, it seems it can't decrypt it. I have no chance of going through this number of files by hand changing permissions on individual files, or locating them, assuming that would help.

I'm sorry that you're experiencing problems using Boxcryptor for Mac OS X. Regarding your issues:

(1) The Boxcryptor file system is using the green tag to mark encrypted files in Finder so that you can distinguish plaintext and encrypted files. When you copy an encrypted file with a green tag from the Boxcryptor Disk to another location, Finder also copies the green tag. After the file has been copied using Finder, you can safely remove the green tag using Finder. If you want to copy lots of files, you can also use the Terminal to copy them. Terminal won't copy the green tag.

(2) Unfortunately it's a known issue that settings are not correctly persisted for some users. We have it on our todo-list.

(3) and (4): This is definitely not a normal behavior and we'll investigate which might cause these problems when working with a big number of files and large folders.
