Can't Open Boxcryptor

I just Reinstalled Windows 8 & now i can't open Boxcryptor.
I get this error:
Login Failed:
This account is already Connected with the maximum number of devices allowed.
Please unlink another device to log in on this computer.
I only have this laptop.
Where is this coming from ?

Hello,

the free account can only be used on two devices at the same time. In order to unlink a device you have to either sign out in the software or unlink the device from the web interface. I assume you did not sign out before you reinstalled and thus the old installation is still linked to your account.

To resolve this, go to https://www.boxcryptor.com/app and sign in. Then go to the Devices page and unlink the old device.

Now i can access my files.
Is it best to Log in or use a local Account with a key ?

Also is it worth buying a unlimited account ?

I did a fresh install of Win XP SP3 and could not log in.
After Unlink still getting too many devices error.
I see a new device on the website but still get the error?
What's up?
