Yes, I've also noticed that both iOS and Android fail to correctly decrypt AES-128. And by fail, I mean crash on Android and incorrectly sending bad (incorrectly decrypted files) on iOS.
Boris' response seemed to indicate that this is a feature that hasn't been implemented, but the correct use of software that causes the software to crash is still a bug. At the very least, the software should fail gracefully, indicating that it cannot decrypt files from the desktop version of boxcryptor (which is NOT what the marketing info says, btw).
I was hoping to select the level of encryption depending on the type of data. Now I'm forced to decrypt and re-encrypt 100+GB of data so that it will work on iOS, Android, and PC. Sigh. :)
