I'm trying to sync my unencrypted local folder into OneDrive. OneDrive has two subfolders, one encrypted and the other not. Using Allway Sync latest version, it throws the error:
"API call error, A device attached to the system is not functioning. (8007001f), Automatic retry after 60 seconds, filename: X:\OneDrive\_Documents_encrypted, fs::writeitem::CreateFile"
It tries to write a metadata.xml file into its \_SYNCAPP folder. For some reason, that folder is empty and the xml file is missing. I can't create a dummy file manually, either. It says:
"Unable to create the file xxx.txt. File system error (65535)."
Windows 7 Pro, x64.
Can't use Allway Sync with encrypted folder
Hello,
Please create a debug log and send it us at support@boxcryptor.com:

Best regards,

Sorry for the delay. I didn't check back here for a reply, thought it would come to my inbox.
I have sent the debug log for a slightly different error message:
"API call error, The device is not ready.(80070015)"
but it is all the same issue. For one reason or another I can't sync into this folder.
I believe the cause of the "device not functioning" is that skydrive.exe won't let go of its LOCK file that it puts on the destination folder. But for this error, I have killed skydrive.exe and removed the .lock file.
For the benefit of search engines, I see that the log contains another error:
"API call error, An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.(8007000B)"
