I was hoping that Boxcryptor Classic 1.4 would resolve this issue which has persisted since at least Boxcryptor 1.1. To be fair, it looks like this is no longer affecting MS Word files, but it is affecting MS Excel files.
I'm creating a new encrypted drive and enable "Mount as Local Disk". I then create a new Excel file, make an edit, and save it to the newly created encrypted drive. I then quit Excel, re-open the file, make an edit, then try to save again, but get the dreaded "not enough memory". At this point, I quit Excel and try to re-open the file again only to get the equally dreaded "file is corrupt" message.
If I can't "Mount as Local Disk", then I'm inherently unable to enable Spotlight or Trash.
Disabling "Mount as Local Disk" allows me to open, close, save, modify, and re-save without any issues.
Can you provide an update on this issue?
