Exception thrown when trying to add a location

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro all updates installed
Boxcryptor 2.0.435.407

After a reinstall of my laptop and everything went perfect, except for my reinstall of BC. Whenever I try to add a location in the BC settings, I get 'Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation' when pressing the add button.

I've removed re-installed BC, switched to a local account, moved my local folder to a diff location, nothing seems to help. This used to work perfectly before, so I am kind off at a loss here.

Has any of you had the same error and more importantly, what resolved it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Erik,

Can you please try if the following helps:

1) Exit Boxcryptor if it is running.
2) Delete the folder at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Boxcryptor (e.g. C:\Users\Erik\AppData\Local\Boxcryptor)
3) Restart Boxcryptor

If also this does not help, please create a debug log:
