MAC to MAC Permissions inheritance

I did check the FAQ and forum, but no joy.

I have both DB and BC installed on three MAC machines.

When put a new file into a folder, I want the file to inherit the permissions of the folder above, is there any setting to do this once rather than for every new file and folder added to BC?

Hello,

When you create a new file in an already encrypted file, the permissions are inherited from its parent folder. There's only an exception when you move an already encrypted file. In this case, no permissions are modified and the original permissions are preserved while moving the encrypted file.

If you don't get the desired permissions, please check the permissions of the target folder.
