I'm using BC on a i7/Windows 7 Machine. I noted that searching for filenames (with Tools like TotalCommander etc.) in the BC-Drive takes much longer than directly on my Harddisk (same Disk where the BC-Folder resides). Filename-Encryption is DISABLED.
Are there any options to improve file- and directory searches (I'm not searching the content of files)?
Is there a possibility that you can improve the performance for such "listing"-operations?
Would an SSD improve this operations?
