I use Boxcyptor classic with Trend Micro's safesync in w8.
I occasionally find that an updated file is saved with (conflict) added to the name before the dot and the file extension.
For example test.XLS becomes test(conflict).xls.
I know that Google Drive generates a similar file name when there are conflicts updating a file, but it appears to use a capital C for the word conflict and in my case the name is definitely in lowercase.
I contacted Trend Micro's help chat line who said they had never experienced safesync adding conflict to the filename.
It is very difficult to reproduce this process as this appears to happen randomly, possibly 2 or 3 times in one day and then not for a week or so.
1) Is it physically possible for Boxcrytor to add conflict to the filename i.e. are the actual lines of code in the program or the call-up file system that you use that could do this.
2) Has anyone else had this happening?
