I get this error every time in Windows 7 or 8.1 when I first try to connect to my Strato HiDrive BC Classic folder. I do not get this error on my DropBox folder. When I first boot into Windows and get the dialog box that pops up asking for my password to connect and mount the drive there is not one for the Strato drive. However, there is one for DropBox. In the Advanced Mode I can see both drives, but the Strato one is 'X'd out. I cant click on mount as it's greyed out. At first I though this was a Strato issue, but now it looks like it's tied to startup of Boxcryptor vs Strato (or possibly other cloud providers). As windows and Boxcryptor boot up they come up first, but the Strato drive is still connecting so BC does not see it and cannot connect. DropBox must load/connect earlier and is why BC sees it. The way I get BC to connect to the Strato drive is go into the system tray and exit BC. Then start it again and it works every time asking for my password to connect to DropBox, then Strato. So, how to fix? Can BC somehow have a slight delay in startup so all cloud/WebDV connections are fully loaded? Do you have another solution?
