Apologies should this have been discussed before; I couldn’t find any helpful match …

If a BC group “owner” creates a new folder on the virtual BC disk within a shared Dropbox folder and sets group permissions, every subfolder created by this user inside this folder obviously gets the same group permissions as its parent folder by default.
But if any other group member attempts the same, i.e. create a subfolder (which of course is only possible because of said group permissions), the new subfolder only gets their personal permissions by default.
We’d expect anyone sharing the same Dropbox folder *and* the same BC group to be absolutely equal at least regarding read and write permissions of files and folders within the shared folder. Are we getting it wrong here, is it a bug or a feature?
Thanks in advance!
