Problems with Win 10

I just upgraded to Win 10 an updated Boxcryptor to Version 2.1.417.123.
But every time, when i want to open a encrypted folder the following message is popping up:

Auf X:\Google Drive\... kann nicht zugegriffen werden. Ein an das System angeschlossenes Gerät funktioniert nicht.

If i try to change permissions by using the boxcryptor context-menu a error occurs

Die angegebene "Ordner"-Eigenschaft konnte nicht gefunden werden.

Same when tryinig to decrypt the folder.

I started the 30-day trail of the Boxcryptor Company Package, but the same problem

I decided now to decrypt all files with the portable version to get back access to all my files!

Had the same problem. Beta worked. Now it's again a great programm.

I have Windows 10 and installed Boxcryptor but have no virtual drive. Completely uninstalled Boxcryptor and Eldos 3 times but cannot get X: drive, so not possible to encrypt files.

Have exactly the same problem like icaru.

I found an emergency solution, which is not suitable for daily use:

Uninstallt Boxcryptor und reinstall it.

In Boxcryptor-Settings look at the location (Is the directory correct?) and change the letter of the virtual drive. T

The drive should be available now ... but after reboot it wont be working anymore and you have to repeat the procedure described above.

update!
1. Uninstall Boxcryptor
2. Search for all entries in Windows-Registry with "Secomba" and remove them.
3. Reinstall newest version (7.8.2015: No beta anymore, now release candidate!)

This solved the problem for me permanently!

I´m having another problem with windows 10 where saving some files to boxcryptor folder freezes my explorer or chrome.

there we would need a debug log again.

May you be so kind to contact our support and give them a detailed instruction on your practice?
