Hi,

Boxcryptor classic is not able to function with OS X El Capitan. I know that you have ended the support.

1) I can't open the folder, so how can I migrate my stuff to boxcryptor 2.0?

2) Is there any migration assistant from classic to 2.0?

3) When I try to open my Classic folder, with Boxcryptor 2.0, its says the format is not compatible.

So my big question is how do I migrate my data.

Anyway - check out the other thread on El Capitan - there's a fix towards the end of it.

I wouldn't migrate to 2 if you use mountable/dismountable drives - it doesn't support that model. It uses a single access point to encrypted files - check the model works for you before buying a product that will probably suffer the same fate by the next OSX release ...

We have released version of Boxcryptor Classic with basic read-only support on OS X El Capitan which you can use to decrypt your existing data. You can then simply re-encrypt it with Boxcryptor 2.x. You can download this version here:
