Good evening,
i currently evaluate boxcryptor on my windows 10 notebook. It is used to mount a boxcryptor volume on a network share (smb 3). Then, i sync my important documents to this volume, which then fullfills my need for a client - side encrypted "at rest" backup copy on my NAS.
Sync works fine, but there is a really annoying problem (especially as my notebook is moved between different networks and the share is only available on one):
Boxcryptor apparently starts before Windows connects to my WiFi, so the Network Share is not present when Boxcryptor launches. Therefore, it forgets the BC - volume and launches with "Keine Speicherorte gefunden etc.../No Volumes found". As soon as my network share is mounted, i relaunch BC and it mounts the volume.
I tired to use the Windows Task Schedule to launch Boxcryptor at Logon with a delay of 5 Minutes but Boxcryptor does not seem to work well with this setup.
Is there any possibility to delay and automatize the process of launching the app? I am looking for something like this:
Boot/Login --> Wait for X Minutes --> Launch Boxcryptor
-OR-
Boot/Login --> Wifi SSID XXX connected --> Launch Boxcryptor
-OR-
Command Line usage: a .bat file that tells the boxcryptor.exe exactly when and where to mount. The rest takes place whithin the Windows Task Schedule.
Is any of the solutions above currently possible? Thank you in advance...
