BoxCryptor 2.0 - Link to Dropbox on iOS

Hi there,

I have been using BoxCryptor (Classic and now 2.0) on my iPhone for years.
I have just reinstalled BoxCryptor 2.0 and during the process it "links" to the Dropbox App on the phone which I assumes "allows" BoxCryptor to access the files through Dropbox.

In the past, this process has always involved the iPhone "switching" to the Dropbox app where I have to hit "Allow" for BoxCryptor to access these files. All good.

However, this time around, the BoxCryptor app itself is now requesting the Dropbox username/password from within the BoxCryptor app itself. Is this normal?

Thanks for reporting this!

We just checked it out and you're right, you are actually seeing a fallback usually only appearing when Dropbox is not installed.
While reproducing it, we found out that there is a bug with iOS9 and the permission configuration. So, regardless of a Dropbox installation, you always will see this fallback screen.
This will be fixed in the next Dropbox for iOS release.
