How do I enable filename and foldername encryption

I'm using boxcryptor on both OSX 10.10 and 10.11 with DropBox. I'm a previous user of boxcryptor classic, slowly migrating my files/folders from classic to boxcryptor. Files moved to the Boxcyptor drive are encrypted (i.e, given .bc extension) but names of files and folders can be viewed in the DropBox drive. This is also true of file bundles that do not receive the .bc extension, although the contents of the bundles are encrypted.

How do I enable filename and foldername encryption, i.e., the Chinese characters?

Hi gmadey,

filename-encryption can be enabled in the settings (see: https://support.boxcryptor.com/display/BCOSXEN/8.+Change+the+advanced+settings , last section) as long as you have at least a personal license.

Leider führt dies nicht zum Erfolg. Die Dateinamen werden NICHT verschlüsselt.

Edith: Also... es funktioniert nun mit neu hochgeladenen Dateien.
Allerdings NICHT mit Dropbox. OneDrive funktioniert.
