Boxcryptor iOS Microsoft Office

Hi,

I know that there is till no easy way to open and save Documents with the Microsoft Office for iOS Apps with the Boxcryptor App.
There are some additional Cloudapps like Owncloud which are able to be opened in the Office-Apps.
The Use the File Dialogue "More" ("Speicherorte") to browse the cloud.
Is it maybe possible to use/provide the boxcryptor-App inside this Dialog to offer File-Access in Microsoft Office Apps on iOS?

I am looking forward to have such a document provider extension as a wrapper to all supported cloud services within Boxcryptor. That would btw also allow cloud services to be used in other apps even though they might not have an document provider extension right now. I hope there are no restrictions from Apple that would not allow such a kind of extension.

This is basically what we have already on OSX by having a logic device that allows the access to all encrypted services using the normal file operations.

So far, opening of encrypted is kind of possible by creating a copy from inside the Boxcryptor app, but storing from an app like PowerPoint into Boxcryptor is not possible at all, which finally leads to storing the file unencrypted in the actual source cloud service.

For me this is one of the most important features on iOS and it goes hand in hand with support of the latest iOS multitasking features supporting iPad Pro. I hope you guys prioritize these accordingly ...

We are already working on a document provider extension and it will be included in the next version of Boxcryptor for iOS which will be released in the upcoming weeks!

I'm really sorry, but I do not have any update on this except that we're still working on it. The extension required more changes to the existing code as we have estimated at the beginning. The bad part: This delayed our initial plans for the release. The good part: We're getting closer to the finish line and a first beta should be available really soon. I'm sorry for the delay and we'll keep you updated here.

As promised, we have _finally_ released the beta version of Boxcryptor for iOS with Document Provider Extension support so that you can open, edit and save documents in Boxcryptor directly from within other apps (e.g. Pages, Word, Excel, etc.). You can find more information about it here:

I cannot save from any iOS Office app to Boxcryptor through the locations extension. When will this issue be fixed? Right now Boxcryptor is useless to me on my iOS devices.
