Android app - doesn't remember password

Hi!
My BC app on android (android 5.1.1, Sony Xperia Z ultra - C6833) redemands the password at seamingly irregular times. This is esspecially bothersome since the camera upload is haltet until the password is reentered.
I tick the Option "remember password" everytime I enter the password. I have the PIN option activated too.

Any ideas why the password is not remembered pemanently?

Anyway I wouldn't mind needing the PW to access BC as long as the camera upload would work without me having to interfere.
