Files unencrypting themselves

I've had several files unencrypting themselves pretty randomly now and then. I'm not sure why. It might happen when I open them on my phone.

I'd need help figuring that out...!

Anyone else having this issue?

Bump. Just happened again. 3 files I saw unencrypted.

may you be so kind to give me some more details on this behavior?
Which device are you using, which OS version, which Boxcryptor version?

Are you editing the files?
Is a re-upload triggered?

Sure!

Device : laptop / LG G3

Boxcryptor V.2.3.415.455 on desktop, latest version on android

OS : Windows 10 Home

I just noticed another file again.. :/

I never unencrypt anything. I might be editing the files, but sometimes I just open them so I'm not totally sure. Maybe a re-upload is triggered.

The thing is I notice the unencryption after the fact.

thanks for the info.

It seems that these encrypted files are not within an encrypted folder.
Please encrypt the containing folder using Boxcryptor on your windows machine.

Afterwards this should not be happening again.

If it does anyway please submit your ticket to support@boxcryptor.com and link this forum thread for reference. This way I can have a closer look at this behavior.
